How did you hear about roller derby? How did you get involved?
I have been friends with Sandy O’Bringer aka Doom Hilda for many years, we skated when we were younger for a speed team in Wayne, NJ. Doom started playing roller derby and brought it to my attention in 2007. I attended one practice and have been involved in derby ever since :)

What does your derby name say about you?
I play hard, I play fast and I play fair!

As co-captain of the Corporal Punishers, what do you expect from your skaters?
Each skater is unique in there own way. As a co-captain I do expect each girl to give there all. Roller derby is not only a sport, it’s a family too. I do push the girls hard when I head practice, but it’s because I know they can do it and would like to see each girl be the best derby girl they can be.

What is your favorite position and why?
I like to play the Pivot [A blocker who establishes team strategy during play] or B1 [blocker who is usually the pivot's buddy in the front of the pack] position. Being in those positions, I am the last line of defense with my teammate up front. But I will play any position. I will go in where I am needed at all times.

Did you ever get any gnarly bruises? How?
I have gotten my fair share of bruises. If I leave a bout and do not have a bruise, I did not play to my fullest.
