MORRISTOWN, N.J. — Members of Morristown’s very own roller derby league, the Jerzey Derby Brigade, showed their support for Morristown at the National Night Out Tuesday, August 2 at Mennen Arena.
Kickin’ it with the JDB
Saturday, August 6, the league is throwing their 2nd annual kickball tournament at Sunrise Lake at Lewis Morris Park in Morristown, starting at 10:30 am. Come watch as 16 teams compete. There will also be BBQ and beer, games for the kids, and a lake for swimming! The JDB will be collecting clothing & small household items to donate to the Lupus Foundation of America that day. Do not miss out on one of our biggest fundraising events!
Trading in skates for sneakers, just for a little bit!
Members of the JDB are going to be participating in the 4th annual Share The Care 5k Fun Run. The run, taking place at Trinity Lutheran Church on Thursday, September 8th at 6:30pm in Morris Plains, benefits the affordable housing projects of Morris Habitat for Humanity.

See the JDB at their next bout on September 10 where the Major Pains take on the Long Island Rock-A-Betty Bruisers! The action takes place at the Inline Morristown, located at 38 Dumont Pl. in Morristown. Doors open at 6:15 pm, whistle at 7 pm.
